Suzanne Richardson Harvey (see book review) lectured in the English Department at Stanford University for almost two decades, then retired. Before that, she was an instructor at Tufts University in the Boston Area, where she received her doctorate in Elizabethan poetry, specifically that of Edmund Spenser. In her retirement she was active in teaching at Diablo Valley College and at Emeritus College in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her poetry has appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, Ascent Aspirations Magazine (Canada), Nthposition (UK), Poetry Salzburg Review (Austria), and SpeedPoets (Australia), among other venues, and published post-memoriam in Moon Mist Valley collection of poetry and art.
